2nd June Media Laws validation meeting

A validation meeting that consisted of journalists, lectures, lawyers and related media stakeholders was conducted on 2nd June 2021 at Dar es Salaam region, to review the Statistics Act 2015 and the Electronic and Postal Communications(EPOCA) 2010 with its regulations. The media laws reviewed are to be presented to the parliamentary committee for the amendment process. Greater freedom of expression can be achieved when the Media legal environment is made condusive. The meeting was conducted in collaboration with International Media Support (IMS).
